Code Talker is a 10 year old Thoroughbred stallion by Refuse To Lose by Brilliant Protege (Secretariat). His dam was Love and Live by Brave Emperor. Code Talker carries an unusual number of duplications of siblings in his 5 generation pedigree which lead us to believe he could prove to be a useful sire. Those duplications include High Voltage and Magneto, full sisters by Ambiorix/Dynamo by Menow as well as Lithe and Menow, full siblings by Pharamond ll out Alcibiades. Alcibiades is the first mare featured in Edwin Bowen's book "Great Mares of the Twentieth Century". Love and Live is listed in the genetic line chart of Alcibiades.

Code Talker is inbred to Ribot through Irradiate, dam of Brilliant Protege as well as Brave Emperor who was a son of Ribot. Bold Ruler is also represented twice in Code Talker's 5 generation pedigree through both male and female ancestors namely Secretariat and Bold Empress. Most interesting is the theme of Lithe/Menow/Ambiorix through Code Talker's dam and sire. Lithe, Code Talker's fourth dam was bred to Ambiorix to produce a daughter Lithia, stakes winner/producer. Ambiorix is the sire of siblings High Voltage and Magneto who are out of Dynamo by Menow. Tom Fool represents Menow through his son Dunce, dam sire of Refuse To Lose.
